Life can be pretty hectic on a good day, what do you identify with? What is your go to for peace of mind? Do you have a place you retreat to, a song to take you down memory lane?
Once you find what works…USE it, over and over and over….train your mind when to just shut up! You have to figure our minds are so complex, continuously receiving, filtering & redirecting information. For the most part a lot of us retain the “negative” very easily, while the feel good gets lost in the shuffle.
Find your go to, and go there as often as you can. I have been meditating now for well over 3 years, and you know what….I’m probably still doing it wrong, but its ok cause I am still doing it! Why? Its the only way my mind will stop cycling through meaningless thoughts and allow me to sleep peacefully.
